(The Manila Times) PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: Fer Casares defended his men’s triathlon title to give the Philippines another gold on Monday, May 8, in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEAG).
Casares’ gold is Team Philippines’ 15th overall gold medal here.
Casares clocked a total time of 58 minutes and 32 seconds to top the 13-man field which includes another Filipino in Kim Remolino.
Remolino settled for a bronze medal after finishing the race with a time of 59 minutes and 53 seconds.
