(GMA News) Growing moles are not necessarily cancerous, Dr. Dave Ampil II said in a recent episode of Pinoy MD.

“But it could be a sign that the mole is transforming into cancer,” the doctor clarified in Filipino.

If you notice a mole growing, it’s best to visit a doctor to find out of the growth is indeed suspicious. “If it’s suspicious, kailangan matanggal yung nunal at ma-biopsy,” he continued.
